Policy Statement
Typhoon sees it as its duty to supply products and/or services that are economically responsible and that satisfy the requirements and the expectations of its clients and also of current rules and regulations. At the same time, Typhoon guarantees that its products and services correspond to the client’s specifications as set out in the order.
Typhoon has developed a quality assurance system that satisfies the international standards listed in NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2000. This quality assurance system is continuously reviewed and is adopted by all departments within Typhoon.
Typhoon’s directors have set down a quality policy in a quality declaration. This quality policy is communicated, understood and implemented within all departments of Typhoon. Moreover, the necessary means are provided for this quality policy to be continued and to play a permanent part in the company’s quality commitments.
The company’s management (senior officers) is responsible for putting across the quality policy in greater detail and linking it to measurable objectives. The achievement of these objectives is measured and reports are passed back to the directors. The quality policy provides a framework for identifying and verifying quality objectives.
Typhoon’s directors regularly assess the quality management system for its functionality and effectiveness. The directors’ assessment also includes the quality management system and makes proposals for improving both the system itself and also the products and services manufactured and supplied by Typhoon.
Every Typhoon employee is obliged to exercise the greatest care at all times in the observance of the quality policy and the procedures described in the quality management system. In addition, employees are required at all times to seek ways and means of improvement. The responsibilities of the management (the company’s senior officers) include direct responsibility for the proper functioning of the quality management system.
