Typhoon now considers customer-oriented approach ISO standardised as well
 |
Having obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certificate, Typhoon Roertechniek considers its customer-oriented approach to have been officially rewarded for the entire group. The certification requires every business wishing to comply with it to have a demonstrable working method aimed at customer satisfaction. Where the emphasis of standardisation in the past was on internal organisation and logistics, the new ISO certification also covers a customer-oriented approach. Peter Ordelmans, manager of Sales and Marketing, is pleased with having obtained the certificate. ‘What seems obvious is now assured and demonstrated,’ he says. ‘This benefits our clients a lot as well. First, the high quality of our products becomes a certainty for the customer. It also saves costs. For example, in future, thanks to this ISO standard, we will need to do a type test only once, including for applications in an explosion-safe environment, instead of bringing in external expertise for each individual facility’.
