Typhoon High Shear Inline Mixer - Typhoon Continuous Mixer Unit
The Typhoon continuous mixer unit is specially designed for the continuous introduction of additives in powder form to a continuous flow of a liquid substance.
The continuous mixer unit is an alternative to the Venturi system, although it does not have the same limitations as the Venturi system, which is often associated with practical problems -especially with regard to hygroscopic substances. Furthermore, the proportion of dry to liquid material in the continuous mixer unit can be controlled. This is not the case with the Venturi system.
Using the Typhoon continuous mixer unit in combination with the Typhoon High Shear Inline mixer results in a higher energy dissipation rate. (technical drawing)
