COAXIAL MIXING SYSTEM
The Typhoon coaxial mixing system is ideal for stirring in reactors in which polymerization processes take place, wherein the viscosity curve can fluctuate greatly.
Typhoon has also developed a coaxial system for dispersion in the high viscosity phase (wherein a sufficient temperature exchange is needed along the tank wall in order to achieve optimal transfer). This system consists of a centrally positioned High Shear mixer in combination with axial pumping scrapers, which collect the product that is situated on the tank wall in the dispersion process.
Despite the high viscosity, this results in an optimal exchange axially, turbulently and laminarly throughout the whole tank. The system can be used at high temperatures, under full vacuum conditions and - if desired - constructed according to ATEX standards.
